WHAT IS IT
A caffeine-free infusion made from roasted barley and water, bottled or brewed. It’s a common Korean “tea” used in place of water.
BENEFITS
Very low in calories, naturally caffeine-free, mild nutty flavor, often used to hydrate without additives. It may help with digestion and may have mild antioxidant / anti-inflammatory benefits (barley contains compounds like polyphenols).
DRAWBACKS
Because it’s so simple, there’s little “boost” other than hydration; if commercial bottled versions have preservatives or packaging leach, those could be risks.
