WHAT IS IT

A low-calorie hydration drink from Coca-Cola Korea made with “good water from 10 fruits & vegetables” plus electrolytes, fruit & vegetable juice concentrates, acids, and flavoring.

BENEFITS

Provides fluid & moderate minerals for hydration; milder flavor and lower sugar than many sports drinks; the fruit/vegetable extracts give some nutritional variety (though small).

DRAWBACKS

Still contains added sugar, acids, flavorings, and concentrates which contribute to chemical / metabolic load; the “fruit & vegetable” label can imply more benefit than the small amounts deliver; acid + sugar combination may affect dental health.

Water5 Essential, no risk.Water is safe and fundamental. Very low risk unless contaminated.
Sugar75Adds sweetness and calories; major risk when overused.High added sugar consumption is strongly linked to obesity, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome.
Fruit & Vegetable Juice Concentrates30
Adds some real fruit/veg content, though diluted and processed.
Juice concentrates still contribute sugars; nutrients are partially preserved but less than fresh produce.
Lemon Juice Concentrate
20
Adds flavor and acidity; mild.
Natural acids are generally safe; can contribute to enamel erosion over time with frequent exposure.
Citric / Sodium Citrate / Phosphoric / Malic
35
Maintain pH, improve flavor; some risk for enamel or metabolite burden.
Phosphoric acid in particular is being studied for effects on bones, kidney health; acids can degrade tooth enamel.
Salt / Mineral Salts
30
Support electrolyte balance; adds sodium/potassium load.
Mineral salts are essential in small amounts; excessive sodium long term is a known risk factor for hypertension.
Synthetic Fragrance / Natural Flavouring
35
Makes it taste better; composition not fully disclosed.
Flavor compounds are mixtures and may include allergens or metabolic modulators; long-term impact of some additives is under study.
Fructose
30
Secondary sweeteners/flavor enhancers; less transparent.
Additional sweetening or flavoring increases additive load; potential interactions or hidden sugars.
Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)
5
Nutritional boost, antioxidant.

Very safe at typical doses; helps protect against oxidative stress.
